I'm going to guess Chelsea have put him in the "permanently crocked" column. And perhaps he is. But if we could get him for £5m, and he played, say, 20 games for us, it could be huge. A wonderful attacking player at his best, albeit with significant flaws in his defensive game, and a fragile body.

RLC an RH favourite and not surprisingly looking at the excellent football by us in the 5-0 win over Leicester. That's how we could play under RH given what he had but the extra quality is too much financially for us. And the risk of injury to a player of that calibre.

But we are trying to land Eze from QPR, who is faster than RLC, and less injury prone. So don't see this happening unless the Eze deal breaks down

RLC at his best is world class with his power and how he uses his body. Fluke one full season out of him and we are flying financially and as a team. The question is whether Chelsea will write RLC off and whether he's worth the punt. I say yes if they did put him up for that sort of price. We would still need a pacy player in the team if Wilf goes. That might be Eze still.

He's to injury prone and at his age this shouldn't be happening so it's not a good sign. The other issue is the price Chelsea is never going to let him go for like 5m come on for a start he is English so straight away that inflates the price I expect they would want 15-20m and he is not worth that at all. Last thing he hasn't really done anything when he was at Palace again spend lot of time injured and only had few moments he looked good plus again Roy had him on the wing at times so be complete waste under current manager anyway.

Not sure if you’re thinking of the same player as everyone else. He was injured a bit but when fit he was outstanding for us. We were a totally different team then to what we are now. I’d take him for £15m but I can’t imagine Chelsea will want to sell him.

We wasn't playing the same type of football then Roy was appointed mid Sep so it took time to switch which was mostly the following season when we went super negative. He missed 14 Prem games due to injury another 4+ was sub appearances

As other's have said major issues about his fitness. If he had stayed injury free he could well be in the Chelski side now, particularly due to their recent transfer embargo, where quite a few players have come through.
