I wanted Brentford to win just to see how they'd do.

Fulham will be a nice stepping stone for us to stay up for another season.

Are Brentford 'the Western Clowns ? The Charlton to the left of our travelzone map ? A nobody club sandwiched between some of football's bigger names ?

Like the clown in The Office.....David Brent-ford

Huge soft spot for Fulham, went to school there and had a mates season ticket a few years back. went to every home European match under Roy. Also was my first PL away day back in Boxing Day 04, I was about 10 or 11 and we got absolutely hammered.

Nice club, a bit prawn sandwich but a pretty nice club. Honestly I’m glad Brentford didn’t get it as I’d love us to poach one or 2 of their players now if possible.

Had a mate at school who was a big Brentford fan and often used to go with him during the days of Stan Bowles.

Lovely club, real fans.

Hope they get their season in the sun.

That said, all my mum’s family are Fulham so happy for them.

The most exhilarating 0-0 in memory, both teams put in a stonking effort.

Always had a soft spot for Fulham. They understand suffering - just like us.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

I expected a bit more from Brentford really. The wheels well and truly came off really as they had almost secured automatic promotion just prior. Well played Fulham. They put away their chances.

I was surprised that they stuck by Parker. I guess he will also start the new season as manager. I'm not convinced he will finish the season in charge though. I have nothing against him, yet he seems a little uninspiring and I can't imagine him being a big lure in the transfer market. Just an opinion. I could be entirely wrong.

I might alert the moderators - this attitude is no good at all, how are we supposed to conduct a tedious tit for tat shouting match with this kind of open-mindedness ffs.
