The council has decided to add a cycle path to my street as it is a narrow road this means that it will become one way. The road is nearly a mile long with not many exits and entrances this will certainly not be for the benefit of people who live on the street quite the opposite. If you need to come home you will have to drive a mile at of your way to connect up to the one way system. It will also push a lot of the traffic onto the next 2 roads which will upset the neighbours over there.

All this for the cycle lobby who don't pay road tax.

No road tax, no insurance, but boris loves to cycle, and cyclists, so no thing but more cycle lanes in the future!Always a great photo opportunity when the need arises, boris puffing away on his bike, would love to see him and pritti on a tandem, reinforced of course, and her behind!

Don't get me started on the Lycra Louts!
My village and the surrounding roads are blighted all weekend every weekend.
They run their own time trials, start telling motorists what they can and can't do.
My blood boils and I struggle not to get too involved.
The majority of them are complete ***** - insert what you will!

Use the Watford idiom of 'rotational fouling'. Take it turns to knock them off their non taxed/mot'd/insured/un-licensed bikes, & park your vehicles at awkward angles on the road, so they will eventually naff-off.

Sooner the 'lycra' mob are extinct the better, fcuking hate them & this post aint me bowling a yorker either. They make my blood/beer boil grrr.

Rant over, im fine now. Honestly i really am

they say it is to help reduce covid 19 being transmitted . people panting on bikes will spread covid 19 more than people sitting in there cars . near me they have blocked a road off two roads away from a school , so now the traffic has to go past the school . just shows the council do not care about the health of the school children

Cnuts? I have noticed in the past year that cycling on the footpath at speed has become acceptable, not the lycra mob this time, they are far to proud, and you can"t go through a red light or a pedestrian crossing on the path, but just the other plain clothes mob, if they have just nicked the bike then fair enough, but seems to be the norm now and they don"t seem to give way either!

Also might be to push all drivers towards the cameras.
Mayor khant is desperate for money so speeding fines will be up for sure.

96% of cyclists have NO concept/idea about the Highway code, the road bible that every motorist has to adhere to when taking their test.

Don't know about you, im old enough to remember & take/pass the CPT - Cycling Proficiency Test. As far as i know, it doesn't exist anymore. They all think they have right of way, they hardly use all the cycle lanes that have been built for them at motorist/tax payers exspence & STILL demand more rights & free space, which in London & most cities, isn't there.

Yeah, did mine on my chipper, they should have number plates on the back and insurance, see a guy got killed in Bow a few weeks back by a cyclist who rode off, with a number plate this wouldn"t have been possible for him to get away like that, lady in regent street couple years ago killed by hit and run cyclist, lady in old street killed by hit and run cyclist couple years ago who had a racing cycle with no brakes! I"ts about time boris and his cronies made a law, insurance and plates, asap!

Hahahaha. Speeding fines. I like that. Average speed is 6mph in London I hear. But fines is probably correct. Like bus lanes, box junctions and etc.

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers
