Rejected the Reading deal to stay until the end of the season. Unhappy that he wasn't given more first team opportunities. Played mostly in the PL2 this season and the last one. But scored in almost every match there.

Lad is still only 19. Well, 20 in Augusy. He has good number for his age. By 22-23 I expect him to have either confirmed as a PL player or flopped.

Would still deserve a contract. Not every day you find such a 19 year old free.

Supposedly Man United and Wolves are interested, but I don't see hom choosing them,especoally when his chances would be limited. Sure, they could offer him a contract and loan him out to Portugal or somewhere for a couple of years, but so could we.

More likely the news that Leeds and Portuguese side Vitoria are trying to get him has more truth. He'd probably be promised playing time. But perhaps he's value some certainty for the future and to be sure he has a Premier League contract signed and a club waiting for him to develop.

Club shouldn't go in a bidding war, but definitely should put in an offer. He might be a great investment.
