from Neil's Wiki page:

Warnock stayed on for the 2008–09 season, but on taking the job a year earlier he had made it clear that the Crystal Palace job would be his last managerial role in football.

Experienced manager with a record 8 promotions in English football to his name.

He has managed 13 clubs in the League and only at 3 of those clubs have the team lost more than they won under his management.

Perhaps with his enviable track record, Bournemouth may look to him after they have sacked loser, Smug Eddie.

He said last job 'in football': this is Middlesbrough so he may have been telling the truth.

If the guy's fit & able to work, doing a job he obviously enjoys why not ? Got loads of time for Warnock, wish him well.

Job on his hands there. Only out the relegation zone by 2 goals.

Still, if he keeps them up this year, I'd put a small bet on Middlesborough going up next season! Probably the best Championship Manager around.

Only 1 win in their last 12 league games, this being their 1-0 win at Charlton in their last game before 'Lockdown'.

Last season they finished 7th under Pulis, however their transfer activity since he left has been to spend £3 Mill and recoup £12 Mill, the sales being Braithwaite, Randolph and Flint.
