The guy who came after the original owner was the one that set the tone of the Guardian as a radical left paper. I think the original owner was radical to a point but then you could argue that Donald Trump is radical, radical doesn't mean left wing.

Which community in the UK is most noteworthy for imprisoning domestic workers and enslaving them ? Clue....it's not the business community , nor the white British majority community. But cases of modern slavery are well documented.
