Sweet produced some great stuff in the 70s.

Glad I was a kid then and not now.

Gutted! Apart from The Beatles, The Sweet were the band that got me into music. The main reason I watched Top of the Pops was because of these blokes and the likes of T Rex, Free, Mott the Hoople, Bowie and Slade (and Pan's People of course!). The Sweet made some pretty hard rock, apart from their commercial stuff. Those were he days!
