You may be correct I'm afraid. But what could have prevented it. Maybe a lesser lockdown but with that the deaths could have been much higher. No one knows the answer yet. A little bit of hope is small reports on hospital time being reduced for admissions. Basically some who would need ventilation 6 weeks ago now need oxygen and out in a few days. Maybe this bug is weakening its strength as most viruses do once theyve done their thing.

YT : The fact is they can recall me at 24 hours notice anytime between now and July,so thats the difference
between Furlough and holiday.Its not a big issue in the scale of things I know with so much job uncertainty. I thought it was 48hours but maybe horses for courses. I think this was brought in to stop people either starting another job or going away (difficult atm but furlough might be used once this C19 has gone for other unforeseen reasons)

Microsoft are sacking 50 journalists as they don't need them, they will use AI instead. This is my point the jobs under threat from technology are no longer the obvious ones.
