Even with the technology today no one can explain how that image got onto the shroud. It contains real blood, is anatomically correct plus a whole host of other reasons why its not a forgery. Most of the guys that studied it in the 70s are now convinced it is the real thing which for me is wild! What I know is that medieval forgers were very good at their craft and created a lot of religious relics. If I was putting my money on a Jesus cloth, I'd go for the Sudarium of Oviedo. I have strong reservations about religious artefacts, but that one seems a little more plausible at least. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (01 Mar 2024 5.11pm)

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (01 Mar 2024 5.01pm) Lets agree to disagree, but when you pop your clogs and get to heaven, you'll think 'Blimey, that AmazingDal bloke was right' :-) Interesting story coming out of Ukraine with regards to a massive UFO: Edited by AmazingDal (01 Mar 2024 5.11pm)

We know that The Devil and Hell were made up, but we still cling on to fluffy clouds and harps. Check out the Sudarium of Oviedo. That should keep you amused for a while.

I wondered when UFOs would turn up in Ukraine. Those aliens/time travellers/interdimensional beings/secret government spaceships/evil spirits love a war.

Eyes wide shut mate I'm well aware of the Sudarium of Oviedo and how it fits in with the image on the shroud. Edited by AmazingDal (01 Mar 2024 5.31pm)

What did you see? Several different things. One was a noughts and crosses shape moving across the sky, another was a dot that kept jumping from place to place, but the weirdest one was like a lava lamp on fast forward. What the f that was I’d love to know. I’ve seen the same thing someone sent me a link to on instagram. A page of different sightings.

When you see something weird like that, it stays with you. I've probably said before that I've had a couple of experiences.

If the two items are connected as some suggest, then that just means that are both more likely to be fakes since the shroud does not stand up to scrutiny. I'd love it to be real too, but religion is just one lot of hokum after another, especially regarding relics. I'm more interested in mass sightings of so called miracles and what this says about the human mind. Lots of people have strange 'spiritual' experiences, but they usually seem to reflect a state of mind.

Look, i'm not trying to convince you or anyone on any of this. I'm just saying that after 45 odd years of being fascinated and studying UFO's/Paranormal, it has led me down this path and the spiritual element is making sense to me. This all started for me when i was around 7 years old, when my step mum, step brother and I witnessed a UFO pretty close up. I've since seen alot of anomlous objects in the sky and have managed to capture some on video (see one of my previous posts). I'm now at the point of not thinking are UFO's real/not real. They are real and i think we are at a point when we can all acknowledge that.

There is a very wide chasm between being swayed by the weight of evidence for alien (or whoever) spacecraft and the validity of religious relics or miracles. Lots of people are sure they have seen Bigfoot, some with very compelling stories, but what are the chances that a viable sized group of large animal like that could live in the USA and not leave a single trace of physical evidence except for a few dodgy footprints and the odd man in a furry suit video? As cool as it would be, it just doesn't make sense. We can't just lump all this stuff together. Some of it is obvious cobblers.

Course it doesnt make sense, that's why we really don't know what's going on with this stuff. See Skinwalker ranch professor.
