Dead.

Another virus victim.

More famous for writing songs sung by others- Bonnie Raitt’s version of Angel From Montgomery is one of my all time favourites.

I had one of his albums back in the day.

What an odd writing style in The New York Times Mr Prine, Mr Dylan and Mr Kristofferson all the way through the article

I has hadn't heard of him up until the weekend when a friend told me about the passing of Bill Withers and also mentioned things didn't look great for John. I've been listening to his stuff a lot since and wondering how it'd mans to escape my attention this whole time. A really good writer and storyteller who I'll file next to Townes.

RIP

He’s been ill for quite a while. I had tickets to see him last year but the show was cancelled twice because of his health. His first album had some brilliant songs on it.
