If there is one thing I hate seeing are news readers (obviously Male) who will wear a suit jacket & collared shirt but no tie.
This has also crossed over to bank staff (usually on Saturdays) who wear the company garb minus the tie & insist on calling you a 'Customer'
State Governors as well giving updates or news conferences are also doing the same.
Show some f***ing gravitas & wear a tie!!

All well and good but I can't find one to fit my necks nowadays

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Perhaps a 'Clip-on' would suit or even a cravat.

If one sees a gentleman wearing a slick designer jacket and trousers and a shirt to match but no tie, the tie is often conspicuous by its absence.

The inference is that my persona 'Online' is at variance with my persona in my everyday life.
Rest assured, they are one and the same.
There was mention of Jacob Rees-Mogg - I have actually been compared to him well away from HOL and I am flattered by their observations !

You peruse a similar gentlemen's barber?

My coiffure and that of Jacob Rees-Mogg are not far removed.
Hair so neat that it resembles a bicycle helmet!

In terms of general appearance we are both 'North' of 6 feet and whilst he is as slender as a gazelle I cut a less svelte figure I suspect due to the passage of time.Jacob is just 50, alas I am 67!
