A while back, on another thread, I explained how I had always been Labour - as I don't deny my working class roots - but could no longer support them (and stopped voting for them). Edited by ASCPFC (11 Mar 2020 5.19pm)

Labour's Kate Osamor, what a charmer I pity her constituents. As for the Standards committee "looking after your own again" No wonder people hold politicians in contempt. Anybody else would have been sacked. Edited by Badger11 (20 Mar 2020 11.14am)

A lot of her constituents will have had similar experiences, except for the being harassed by the press and living in a 700k house part.

That said, having read the link I can see where you are both coming from. Whist naturally more right leaning, I also support much of what the left have traditionally stood for. Labour these days however serves nobody except the middle class elite and minorities.
The traditional work-class have been f@cked up the ass. Out priced from the cities they grew up in, competing for jobs with people from all around the world who will work for far less, no social housing, lack of school places, etc, etc, etc. Modern labour are not fit to serve. Maybe blue labour is the lefts way forward.
