didn't see the comment so can't judge, but I've always liked him, did well at Brentford and he's not doing too bad a job there - I could see him trying to get us promoted in a season or two, one of a crop of genuinely promising English managers with Potter, Wilder and Howe, but you may see his limitations better than me, actually once you add Roy, Brucie, Pearson, Dyche and Lamps it's a bit of a renaissance for English managers, though the very top is still out of reach, not to mention Southgate, this season must be the highest percentage of English prem bosses for a long time
