I think Badger and Rudi have summed this up. Essentially a life thrown away from within a throw away superficial culture.

Agreed, can we close this thread now. It seems amazing to me that this has lasted about 4 days as front page news in the MSM with no sign of abating.

From Today's Sun one of the celebs who complained about press intrusion. Laura (who she?) has just returned from her exotic holiday fortunately for her a photographer was close to hand to take snaps. It must be nice having other people pay for your vacation I did try and sell The Sun a couple of snaps of me in Russia but strangely they weren't interested. If your wondering what that smell is it's the new perfume from Z list celebs called Hypocrisy. Edited by Badger11 (27 Feb 2020 9.26am)

Why anyone is interested in this stuff is beyond me.

They're not, but the PR companies representing these people pay the newspapers handsomely for printing these prepared articles.

The whole thing should be removed from tv and, naturally, in turn, the media and social media. None of it is good for anyone apart from those making long term money out of it. Everyone is damaged by it, whether they know it or not. Edited by Rudi Hedman (27 Feb 2020 3.31pm)

Can’t help thinking the reaction since her suicide would be different if the sexes were reversed, and I’m not saying I agree with any of it. (My main opinion is stay out of that world) She smashed a lamp over his head. She could’ve killed him. As the CPS have said, they’re keeping the public or future partners safe, but the portion of the public obsessed with her area of fake celebrity won’t have it. Well until the morons take over the country, this is how it is. You live by the law of the land, not how popular a tv persona is, which obviously may not be real, or just one of a few personalities. It is sad that she took her life though. Being in that goldfish bowl with all that going on must play havoc in your head. Not everyone can deal with it, and that’s another problem of the modern talentless celebrity world, before you add the trolls hammering home how your life will be from now on. Good post Rudi. Extremely sad that she took her own life. In respect of the criminal prosecution. It has puzzled me the so called public outcry that the CPS wouldn’t drop the charges and that this was supposedly a malicious and mis-guided prosecution. Could you imagine the same clamour to NFA it if it had ben a man smashing a lamp over his girlfriends head whilst she slept?!

I don't know much about her background but looking at the large full face photo in your link I am wondering if she was trans gender as she looks like a man
