Car wouldn't start - £140 later

So BMW (unless M car) comes with run flat tyres (which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy) and no spare. We got a puncture in our run flat in Carlisle and had to top it up with air and drive very slowly all the way back to London.

Now gone and got Michelin Pilot 4S on the car and it rides like a beaut! We just need to buy a repair kit now.

RAC/AA would give you a spare wheel for £100+ which would get you to the nearest garage but didn't want that.

So when did not having a spare wheel become legal ? And how come it is an "option" on a new car , that costs an additional £460 ?

Ironically my partner's car wouldn't start last night, just after reading this thread.
She called the AA out, when I told the AA man it wouldn't start he said the battery is knackered, it's a well known fault on Audis.
The car is less than 3 years old!!
Because it is leased the AA man said he couldn't fit a new battery, she will have to ring the lease company today. They are coming out between 11 and 1.
Why are Audi fitting batteries to new cars that they know will fail?

Agreed.

Before Brexit his car would never have dared remain where it was when Stirling wanted to leave. Remain just won't accept the result.

Last time I saw an RAC man he was by the side of the road crying his eyes out and sobbing uncontrollably and wouldn't leave the side of his van. He was having a breakdown (Tim Vine, I believe).

 

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
