Ray Winstone is an interesting case. That cockney tasty geezer accent of his has been cultivated. If you watch early films of his when he was younger, yes, he had a cockney accent, but not like the one he uses now.

According to a lot of the locals where I live it’s me. The humour in being asked several times a night “Orl rite ma son? Ow’s it goin?” never gets old for some people.
