A useful point for us,given injury crisis.
Good to see Brighton, led by scout master Potter lose again and despite all the euphoria over their new expansive style, are now two points worse off than this time last season.
Smug Eddie's Bournemouth are thrashed at home and what an amazing job Pearson is doing in turning Watford's fortunes around.
Given that West Ham lost on Friday and Villa are currently 2-0 down, not a bad set of results.

Bournemouth have lost 9 of their last 11 PL games.
Watford who were rock-bottom when Pearson arrived, well-adrift of 17th place, have won 4 out of their 6 games under Pearson and have climbed out of the relegation zone.

I wonder if CB to Villa might suit both clubs. Also looks like 38 points might not be enough.

This could be a season where forty plus is required.

Only 3 times in the PL has 40 pts not been enough to stay up, the last season being 2002-03 when W.Ham went down on 42 pts.
