I know Norwich would do everything possible to keep him, but we could potentially turn his head if we put a decent offer in. He won't want to be relegated and would see us a big step up. Could be worth a bid.

Seems like that player who makes his "step up" by chowing a move to West Ham or Everton and then disappearing into obscurity.

Why are we a bigger club than Norwich? They sell out their ground week in week out regardless of which division they are in and have a massive catchment area and huge support from those who have moved away. Right now we have one thing they don't we have stayed up they have yo yo club as a mantle. If they can stay up just a few seasons they will stay up for many more. I would also argue they are potentially more financially stable than us as they don't pay huge wages to bench warmers.

I thought Max Arons was top of the list for vulture transfers if Norwich go down, Pukki might join him or replace him if we do well enough on full backs this window.

A late developer and at 30 would not have any resale value after a 3/4 year contract . If he was ten years younger we would be in the que but his age makes him dead money that we cant afford
