Yep, so the question is have you ever cashed out early?

I had the very unfortunate event of this happening to me tonight. Four fold, two teams winning and we enter the last few minutes of the game. Ordinarily, I’d have accept defeat on this bet right now and wouldn’t even be looking at it but I am. One more team scores in the 91st minute, I take £42 and the second I hit cash out, the fourth team, Wycombe, also in the 91st minute score too.

Seconds between it but I could’ve had £905.

Absolutely gutted

Rather than cash out, can't you lay some odds with one of the spread firms and protect more?

you shouldn't be gutted - You were £42 up.

I Had one riding on Livepool drawing with Villa the other week - was gonna cash out when it went to 1-1. but missed my opportunity and Mane popped up with That 94th Minute goal - so missed out completely doh!

Not been in the position very often but when I have the cash out was a waste of time. I think I had one bet with 5 minutes to go all my teams were winning well the cash out was something like £10 the winnings were about £70 or £80 so I held on.

It would be nice to have that problem normally I can't pick a winner in a one horse race.

If you get serious about your betting look at opening a betfair account. This will give you the option to lay bets which can offer you cover if you back a particular team that get's into a winning position and you want to ensure a profit. Problem with having 4 teams playing in a multiple bet is that things can change very rapidly as you have found out. Multiple bets generally are hard to get across the line and favoured by the bookies.

I never cash out. Take the view that there must be a reason the bookies introduced it- and I would hazard a guess that it wasn’t to help punters make money!
