Amyone advise re Broadvand in Orpington?

Got a mate who libes in Orpington who has sky broadband, but says its always buffering ans is hacked off. Anyone know if a sky problem or can recommend a provider that works? Thanks

Thanks Most people I know say Sky broadband is no better or worse than the others. I assume he is getting it through a land line so unless he goes Virgin (specific firbre optic connection) other providers will use that same connection. It maybe his Sky equipment is the problem or it could be he is a long way from the street box which also impacts speed. If his neighbours have the same issue then it is likely that. If it is only him more likely it is his equipment he should ask Sky to run some diagnostics.

Being Orpington, the broadband is slow as I suspect the gypos have stolen most of the cables.
