Academia and science beyond repair; the ridiculous feminism has gone on for years. Gender studies only studies genders other than male. Males are simply toxic.
It is in every subject. I had to study 'queer' archaeology as a module - seriously. An angry lesbian lectured and it was all about how queers are under represented.
They seemed over represented to me when 200 straight people were forced into doing such a pointless module. Made me drop archaeology, which I enjoyed.
No Time Team for me. As I work in academia and education, I could give countless examples.
As a male the latest development is that I have absolutely no chance of promotion as we need to watch our quotas.

You have my genuine sympathy and understanding.

The left were allowed into these institutions and trusted. For a time, it worked. However, over time instead of employing and promoting on pure meritocracy they have employed and promoted in their own political self image. Now these same institutions are a form of political tyranny where dissent is held against you instead of an environment where all views are given space.

Academia should be the constant debate and investigation of all ideas and politics, not the indoctrination of one form of them.

(on the left there are exceptions to this but most of them keep their heads down)

They also placed handwritten notes for E.T. from Alex Brooker, Sandy Toksvig and The Chase's Dark Destroyer into the Rover's soil collection tray. Unbelievable!!

What is it you wanted/want to do that required you to go to university?

I would strongly advise anyone to only go if they need a specific qualification.

I do wonder what percentage of people actually end up using their degree in their working life? Would be interesting to know.
