At his age, a trip to watch Palace is probably the ideal treat. No chance of a raised heart rate.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

There won't be much of a difference in the stadium. We did fix the roof in the corner that collapsed and paint the gates. I'm guessing you'll be in the Arfur - get your beers and food in before and after the match and go to the loo beforehand.

You can always drop him near the ground and drive and park. If you get there 1:45pm-2pm you can park relatively close. All depends on his mobility.

Went to see them at Watford a few years back, luckily for me, as i because of the Watford memberships i had to buy just to get some tickets, meant i was able to buy a couple of Wembley tickets for the semi the same year. Anywho. Whats my best parking option for the ground ? bearing in mind the old geezer is 80, and we are driving up from Devon. Or is there a park near a train station option and take the train in ? Thanks in advance. If I were you I'd come off the motorway at Godstone and park at Upper Warlingham or Whyteleafe. Train to East Croydon and cab to the ground. Or drive to East Croydon. A friend in a similar situation used to park in Sainsbury's about mid-day but that was some time ago. Sorry - meant to say hope you both really enjoy the game and bring us luck. Thanks in advance. You could always try these. Have used JustPark several times and it is very good. The second one seems to have better value, may well be worth the expense for your dad. Good luck
