Most of us like a bet and most of us like to think that we sometimes have information which could lead to a few extra quid in our pockets.

Take the Zaha scenario earlier, odds absolutely plummeted earlier when Sky Sports announced details of a second bid by Everton which has now been categorically denied by the club. When odds plummet, many people jump on board so how is it that a Company such as Sky Sports report wayward reports of transfer activity, yet profit from this journalism from their sister group, Sky Bet.

Surely they can just report any old nonsense claiming it to be “in the know Sky sources”, knowing full well that they can drive profits easily elsewhere in their group.

It’s wrong and fake sports stories and speculation claimed to be truth should be banned for the impacts it has on betting sequences

Thoughts?

We were talking about this just yesterday and I definitely agree that it's concerning [Link]
