Reasonable point, but yes I would if they were working for me personally, however they are not. They are already employed by companies to go and find talent.

Agents (who represent players) generally only get paid off the back of a transfer deal. Therefore, their remit is to tout their player to bigger clubs and use the media to unsettle the player to get the best deal.

You can see how it plays out in the media with some of our best players
