Boiled down to the basics, rape is seen as abhorrent primarily because it's an exertion of power upon someone who is afraid to or cannot fight back. The example you give is quite disturbing and whether you think the guy isn't man enough or not, this woman is clearly mentally disturbed and doesn't immediately come across as someone who is concerned about the well being of anyone, man, woman or child. It is what it is regardless of how it can be presented socially or politically.

Beyond the obvious violence here, as for the wider issue, I would say that's something that transcends gender and is so up interpretation that it causes numerous victims on both sides of the equation. As in rape victims who aren't believed, and the not insubstantial group of those entirely innocent individuals (largely men) engaged in consensual acts getting accused of things they would never dream of doing.

But ultimately, if someones a nutter, they're a nutter. Whether you can personally fend them off isn't the sole consideration for society because there will always be someone unable to do so and they may well be the next victim.
