You can check out all of them here: Having seen all the transfers done so far, I can genuinely say that some of the deals were very good for some teams. Now, I'm not saying that we could have gotten Griezmann or anything, but some deals like Embolo to Moenchengladbach for just 10 million are astonishing! Breel Embolo, Swiss player who was bought just 2 years ago for 26 million by Schalke, only 22 years old, much better than someone like Benteke in my opinion, is sold by Schalke for so little. After a bad season, teams start looking for guilty ones. This is the case with Schalke, who had a disappointing last season. But Embolo hasn't been bad in the last 2 seasons. He had done pretty good for Schalke. He has also been very good for the national team: Schalke made a really big mistake and it's a real coup for Moenchengaldbach, 5th place in Germany last season. There's also the case of 20 year old French goalkeeper Alban Lafont, considered one of the greatest prospects in European football and the next Areola, who went from Fiorentina to Nantes "on loan",with an option to buy of just 7 million! I also name strikers Aleksander Isak (19 year old Swede with African ancestry) who went from Borussia Dortmund to Real Sociedad for just 6 million, David Kownacki, the Polish young striker who went from Italian Sampdoria to German Fortuna Dusseldorf with an 8 million option to buy, wingers Ivan Cavaleiro who went on loan to Fulham from Wolves, Nicola Sansone bought by Bologna for 7 million from Villarreal, Adem Ljajic bought by Besiktas for 6 million from Serie A, Hernani got by Levante free from FC Porto, Theo Bongonda (who is in great form and I always have to bring up this old topic when I talk about him-https://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=170881&page=1) bought by Genk for 7 million, Sinan Gumus gone to Parma from Galatasaray free of contract, Brandley Kuwas from the Eredivisie sold to the UAE league for 2 million (the great Dutch shooter-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpGZd9j8DdE ), free agent Donis Avdijaj snapped up by Trabzonspor of Turkey, right wingback Mama Balde, who is exactly like AWB only 23 years old and without the 50 million price tag gotten free by Dijon of Ligue 1 in France, Luyindama, center back bought by Galatasaray for 5 million, even left footed winger Roberto Insigne (brother of Insigne from Napoli, not that talented, but really the best player of the Italian second division last year), center back Ognjen Vranjes from Anderlecht to AEK Athens on loan (I don;t know why they were dissatisfied with him, they had paid 3,5 million for him 1 year ago and had a bad seasons for Anderlecht's standards, but I don;t think it was Vranjes' fault. Every time I've seen him play, even for the national Bosnia team, he looked very strong and good). There's also Max Kruse who was a free agent and went to Fenerbahce of Turkey, but he supposedly wanted a very big salary (normal when you think he is already 31) and he supposedly even turned down Tottenham to go to Turkey, so I won't refer to him further on as a loss. By position: Center forward: Isak- 6 million Kownacki- on loan and of he confirms, then 8 million Left footed winger: Hernani-free Sinan Gumus-free Kuwas-2 million R.Insigne-1,5 million
Sansone- 7 million Ljajic-6 million Attacking midfielder: Right back Center back: Goalkeeper:
The 3 center forwards on the list can score or provide an assist once every 150 minutes by the age of 22. A little less for Isak, going towards 200 minutes, but he's only 19. The wingers above (Bongonda, Ljajic etc)can score or provide assists in a top league like the PL once every 250 minutes or even less, being much better than what currently is in the PL. Even Cavaleiro played pretty well when sent on by Wolverhampton, but didn't get more playing time because of their 3-5-2 system and because Diego Jota played really well and they invested a lot in Adama Traore who will be given playing time ahead of Cavaleiro, even though I say Cavaleiro is better. Very good young player Ruben Vargas from the Swiss league was also bought for little money by German Bundesliga Augsburg, just 2 million. One of the best prospects in the world at his young age: What should have happened in Palace's summer transfers: -get 2 forwards out of those 3 (Embolo, Kownacki and Isak) -get 1 left footed winger (either Bongonda, Hernani, Sinan Gumus, Kuwas or even Insigne, I'd have been happy with any of them, they're close in value) -get 1 right footed winger (Cavaleiro/Ljajic, or maybe Sansone) -get free attacking midfielder Donis Avdijaj, who was the best player in the German youth system and his records still stand high in those youth leagues of theirs before being loaned out by Schalke to the Austrian league, the 2.Bundesliga and the Eredivisie, where he did great before the age of 22, but had a bad attitude problem in winter and got sacked by his club in the Netherlands (can be fixed though as he's just young) - get central midfielder free agent Lewis Holtby -get right back Mama Balde and even free agent right back Eli Dasa, starter for Israel, even though a work permit would currently be improbable, Israel should make the FIFA Top 50 rankings soon and Dasa is now free of contract -get center back Ognjen Vranjes on loan -get gk Alban Lafont on loan with an option to buy and have him battle it out with Guaita. Squad for next season could have looked like this: ......................Guaita...................... This would guarantee a Top 10 finish in the PL, maybe even Top 7. Expenditures:
And that would have been a transfer window. Done by July 15th. All over. These players have already moved. Sure....there are also other players waiting to move even if those were missed. There's the wonderful 19 year old from the Danish league Skov Olsen, who is a left footer playing as right winger and is simply amazing for his age. I've rarely seen something like this. Supposedly, his club has already reached an agreement with Bologna of Italy for as little as 4-6 million and he already has had a medical, but he hesitates in signing because he doesn't know if Bologna is the best option for his development. I think he'd rather playy in the PL. If we didn;t bring either of Bongonda, Hernani etc, this is player who should not be missed. He will be one of the best in the world in a couple of years.

@dimps, I'm a teacher/professor in my country. Played youth football and worked with young players. If Zaha were to leave later in the summer for 50 million or so, I'd get Cristian Tello from Betis Sevilla. It would be the best like for like replacement. And Betis wouldn't ask for more than 10 million. I made a thread earlier this month "40 players who could replace Zaha", but honestly only about 7-8 of them would be available for below 15 million. 3 of them have already moved: Cavaleiro, Ljajic, Sansone. Tello and even Cavaleiro are similar to Zaha's playing style. They could achieve similar results. And I don't mean they will definitely have the same skills and goals snd assists as Zaha, but they're similar through their imposing stature and power and stamina. There would have also been Quincy Promes, but he has just signed with Ajax Amsterdam for 15 million.

Anyone would do a better job than dougie is, the fact we haven't brought anyone (apart from the gk coach's mate) is one thing - but to not actually have any solid links to players is a worry with only 3 weeks left until the window slams shut in our face. Does Parish think the window is open until end of August still?

I'm sure that Parish and Freedman have solid links to players but they have forgotten to post them on social media. What naughty boys they are

Mattteo you really should be working for us in a scouting capacity. Excellent, as always, work. Thanks. Some other good deals done in the last days: Mateus Uribe, Colombian central midfielder to Porto- 8 million Arnaut Danjuma, winger, from Brugge to Bournemouth for 13.5 million Nadiem Amiri, attacking midfielder, from Hoffenheim to Leverkusen for 8 million Rafa Mir, young Spanish striker, loaned by Nottingham Forrest from Wolves Hector Moreno, Mexican central defender, from Real Sociedad to Al-Gharafa for 3 million Darwin Machis, Venezuelan winger, from Udinese to Granada in La Liga for 3 million Victor Osimhen, 20 yo Nigerian striker, from Charleroi to Lille for 10 million Ben Woodburn, 19 yo, on loan from Liverpool to Oxford (not a fan of loans, but sending him to League One means they'll probably let him go next summer for less than 15 million, a good price for a 19 year old with his skills) Chadrac Akolo, winger-forward, on loan to Amiens from Stuttgart, with a good option to buy Xavier Amaechi, 18 year old English-Nigerian, left footed, from Arsenal to Hamburg for 2 million Heriberto Tavares, 21 year old Portuguese winger, left footed, on loan from Benfica to Boavista Diogo Goncalves, 21 yo Portuguese winger, right footed, on loan from Benfica to Freamunde (not many chances at Nottingham, but still very young and rocked it for the Portuguese U21 national team) Robert Skov, 23 yo Danish left footed winger, from Copenhagen to Hoffenheim for 10 million Skov Olsen, 19 yo left footed winger, to Bologna for 5 million Lewis Baker, central midfielder, on loan from Chelsea to Fortuna Dusseldorf
