My name is Ryan and I am currently studying at Cardiff University. During the summer months of 2019, I have to complete a dissertation. For this I have decided to research how football supporters travel to football games. As a result of this I have produced a survey on the matter and will be extremely grateful if you can complete it for me. It will take less than 5 minutes. Here is the link [Link] and thanks for your time.

These things always end with a round of questions designed to get the answer desired by the author. Load of bollox anyway, there wasn't an option for magic carpet.

Don't be too harsh Chris, these surveys (especially for a post-grad) normally have to go through a rigorous ethics committee process, and have to be designed to remove any leading questions or researcher bias.

Actually just looked at the survey and I can't believe that there is no choice for motorcycle as a means of transport on the survey. 1.1 million motorbikes in the UK and you haven't included them, yet you include Campervan? I think you need to re-do it.

Exactly, the Iraq dossier cited by Tony Blair was irrefutable evedience and totalling infallible. Iraq could have dispatched missiles to Cyprus in 45 minutes and it was unjustifiably slandered by fake news circulated from Thompson Holidays in order to prevent them giving me a refund on the holiday I booked in 2002.

Frustrating survey, got a few minutes in then had to ditch it. It assumes I have an opinion on environmental impacts of different travel mrthods, whereas to be honest, I dont. No option for 'no opinion'and if you don't answer every question it won't let you pass. Forcing people to choose one of the answers to be able to proceed surely generated skewed survey results?

What concerns me is the number of students who come on here with their football related surveys normally for their degree / MA / PHD courses. What type of degrees are they doing and are these going to help get them jobs? I stopped looking at these surveys when I tried to do one on women's sport. To say it was biased was an understatement and I criticised the people doing it and their teachers for allowing it to be constructed in that way. I would sum up that survey with my own made up question. Answer from one of the following options. How would you summarize men's attitude to women's sport. A) Sexist? I have not read this particular survey but it says a lot about our education system when students are allowed to create blatantly biased surveys to give them a predetermined answer.
