Apropos the new mayor, I admit I had never heard of this gentleman but even though I don't share his politics I don't wish him any ill-will.Given that he has resided in the Borough for 40 years, perhaps he is a supporter of our club ! Many years ago I was introduced to a former mayor who I believe is still on the council.He was a very nice amiable gentleman from the 'Emerald Isle' and whilst we were on opposite sides of the house politically we had a darned good constructive and positive natter about our team.
