Humans 'Our Friends' was very good, Porridge is one of the best British comedies. Years and Years is just thinly veiled Lefty propaganda.

The first season of 'True Detective'. I've practically bought all the old BBC comedies and a few ITV ones from back in the day when British TV comedy was actually funny. Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2019 12.43pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2019 12.43pm) Welcome back Stirling. I think that is a little unfair. Certainly, the show lost a bit of sparkle when a certain character departed. (No spoilers) but it has been consistently entertaining.

I'd agree that it's been worth a watch compared to most...I was just blown away by season one. Like most successes....it gets milked until the udders are as flat as East Anglia. Some of the DC Superhero Netflix series is a must watch: Daredevil And The Punisher were both excellent. for older stuff, cant beat the offbeat craziness of Twin Peaks then there's

The Thick of it. Brilliant series. Seems more realistic the more time goes by.
