Looks like a good addition but assumed he wasn't interested & had extended his contract after a review by the club.

What we do t have enough for us half a team when I see lists of: Right back, CB, left back, winger, striker on these pages. That just isn’t going to happen unless more big earners leave, so we’re close to one in one out anyway, which is the same as Batshuayi and AWB out and 2 in. We’ll just make a profit on AWB to put towards the £45 mil loss and not spend very much in net spend from the tv money apart from this loan of a striker.

What worries me is that in one post-match interview Roy says we're short on midfielders, but to me that seems the one area we're not short on? I think we may see another utility midfielder, a right-back and a someone who can play across the front line (like Watkins or Antonio) rather than an out-and-out striker. Given budget restrictions and limited time it may be about adaptability. Not much time left to find out now.

If we could get this guy plus Batts back on loan and finalise Cahill and Camarasa deals I would be happy.
