John Jackson, my childhood hero. First saw him on 28th Dec 1964 a 1-1 draw away at Portsmouth, the first game my Dad, a lifelong Palace fan took me to. The best moment was when Jacko saved a penalty and we beat Leeds United 2-1 in the League Cup in the 68/69 season. I was right behind the goal and saw him tip it onto the post.
