It is better for the staff, as if they make a mistake in not carding someone they can be held liable for selling alcohol to a minor. It is also better for the business as it reduces their liability. I am in my fifties and still periodically get carded. It is usually at a liquor store near one colleges. Hence, I suspect, their caution. If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I am in my fifties and still periodically get carded. It is usually at a liquor store near one colleges. Hence, I suspect, their caution.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.
