I'm hoping that UEFA will switch the ARS v CHE game closer to home because other than a horific journey lasting daaaaaaays, i heard somewhere else that the world is dying and flights, travel etc add to our demise?

Another European Bloc farce.

So you don't think the lesser countries should have a chance to host finals then? Isn't that the same mentality that maintains the 'big six' in England?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

How about a European football competition for the bottom 3 clubs from every major national league ?

the Prem teams (Huddersfield, Fulham, Cardiff) would wipe the floor with the opposition, including those from Spain/Italy/Germany.

what teams to expect ?

Granada, Nantes, Groningen, Bruges ?

I never said that.
It's a ridiculous decision given the logistics that both sets of fans would have to face, the same fans who spend thousands per year (money and time) following their club only to get to a European Final that may as well be on the moon.
'Spreading the love' so to speak is fine, but not at the expense of those who make the game what it is.

Anyway, this made me laugh......

Judging by reports on how England fans are behaving in Portugal today, we're probably gonna get banned from European competitions again soon.
