Jaws should have been an "X" I still have nightmares

My first 18/X was RoboCop. Was about 16, and I had a few bad dreams after that. Still remember the whole audience being shocked during and after the "Mr Kinney" scene. It went on for about five minutes. My mate agreed that level of violence was unbeleivable at the time. (The original cinema version was way more hardcore than the VHS version).

I don't know how they were allowed but my school had a film club where they showed 'X' films after school, you needed a note from a parent to say you could watch it. May have been Jaws @ 14.

I think I was 14 when I saw Enter The Dragon. The pub opposite is called The Bricklayers never liked it further up the high street is the George where I had my first pint at 14, was well known for underage drinking as long as you behaved yourself.

Spent many a night in there back in the day.

Not sure if it was very first X-rated I saw but, definitely an eye-opener: "The Body" - 1970 at the Forest Hill ABC.
It was a documentary, and covered everything about the human body (some of which I wish I could un-see...)
If my memory serves me well, the copulation scenes were good...

Exorcist or a p***. called Gusher, either way we'd bunked off school to watch it
