If there are any red and blue balloons to be seen (especially drifting across the pitch) we lose

I predict the age difference between the managers will be mentioned several times by the commentators.

Given some of the results we've seen this week then maybe even Benteke......could score the winner.....from the spot......in the 92nd min......to (not quite) redeem himself?

2-1 Palace.

Not seen Sam Woods play but must be in contention with Dann’s injury and good chance without risk to see what he can do.

Another ball playing centre half would be most welcome, does anyone know if he’s a good passer? Dann has been one of my favourite players in recent times but he’s struggled with passing in recent times, especially without Sakho alongside him.

By my calculation we’ve got the worst home record of any non- relegated side in the PL - 14 goals and 17 points. What makes this truly ludicrous is that only 5 sides have conceded fewer at home.

I’d love a goal fest but can’t see beyond 1-0 on the optimistic front and either 0-0 1-1 or 0-1 on the realistic level.

3-0 it is then.

Any word on the defence and Dann possibly being out?

If we play like in the Cardiff game we could see lots of goals from both teams. Hopefully Hodgson lets the shackles off a bit and we play on the front foot. I dislike Eddie bum face immensely, so I would quite like to see us stuff them. Dann has looked painfully slow since he's come back into the team, so I'm not that worried if he is out. If he is then it'll be interesting to see who Hodgson plumps for. With there being no pressure it would be good to see one of the youngsters get their league debut, although Riedewald, Ward or Kouyate may just slot in.

I'm going to go with 2-1 to Palace with AWB and Zaha getting the goals.

Would like to see Reiderwald given a chance at centre half, after all he was bought as a defender wasn't he? Should give a few of the U21's a go too. Not many would have predicted AWB would be this good and he was thrown in at the deep end.
