Totally agree. Can't believe Tompkins was told to head the ball into Murrays path and PVA told to allow Knockaert to cut in on his stronger foot unchallenged. Shame, because that was the only attempts Brighton had on goal. Compare the home game last year, when we came out of the blocks fast and went after them from the start, exciting thd crowd.... and this year's game, where we sat back, passed it sideways, backwards, slow as p**s. And tell me wd didn't get the tactics wrong!

Because we were sh!te. Next question. The 6 easy points we've donated to Brighton could well be what keeps them up. Ahhhhhhh ! .... that would be tragic !

Compare the team last year. No excuse for the way we always start just about every game so slowly. I bet brighton couldn't believe their luck. They must have expected us to tear into them from the start.

Brighton got two 'out of the blue' goals and a bit of luck. That is all. Exactly how we beat Man City and no-one on here would say we have a better team than them. I would rather lose twice against Brighton and finish mid-table that beat them twice and get relegated, which they might just do. Just another example of all the 'great' managers everyone else has got apart from poor old us. Don't count your chickens. If brighton beat Cardiff on Tues there will only be 3 points between us abd them in 17th. This season is still in the balance. A really good finish to the season could see us 10th/11th a really bad one could see us 16th/17th, which would be really dissapointing

No, what happens is that the opposition set up to stifle us knowing that we have a limited squad, particularly in midfield where our marquee signing isn’t doing it and that if you stop th3 team playing out from the back to Zaha the famous best fans turn on the team quite quickly and start venting at Roy.

Only we don’t turn on the team and the only venting Roy gets is ironic cheers or boos at subs being made late in the game after we’ve gone behind.

Heard plenty of shouting for subs before half time where I sit and plenty of whingeing which clearly transmits to th3 pitch. Roy’s mad3 decent subs in games recently but still everyone wants to whine about things three months ago.

Dreadful Tomkins clearance attempt and a wonder shot that could easily have gone anywhere, we had fifteen attempts at goal compared to their four and 63% of the ball, we only lost because of poor finishing which has been the problem all season against everyone ...get over it. Yes but Tomkins makes very few mistakes/poor clearances, but we wouldn't miss a goal scorer so much if we had a left back that could defend, i lost count of the goals against us that were down to his poor/non existence defending.
