Was not prolific with West Brom under Pulls but scores more now less isolated under Rafa, our system has always demanded a hard working number 9, benteke's link up play improves us it's just he's shot as a scorer, Rondon was be a perfect fit imho at a reasonable price, he can't have too much time left on his web contract

I like Rondon, a player who has a £16.5 Mill release clause in his WBA contract.He has had a hand in 45% of Newcastle's goals this season. A tireless worker who can hold the ball up front and bring others into play and who takes an excellent free kick when the opposition have setup a wall.Also strong in the air. £16.5m a lot of money for somebody who will turn 30 at the start of next season. also in my humble opinion no better than what we already have at the club.

I like him. I’d have him like a shot if we could get rid of Benteke. He’s not special but he’s coming off the back of a really decent season - 12 goals and 7 assists for Newcastle who are no more prolific than us. That’s a lot of assists - he makes things happen He’s oldish of course but there again Glenn only really hit his stride when he was 30.
