Appreciate football existed a long time before the Premier league but is this the first season in our history that we've never been in the Premier league relegation zone for the entire season? Happy to be corrected but I can't remember us ever going an entire Premier league campaign without at least spending a day (or a lot more) in the relegation zone.

It’s been a very solid season by our standards. And that’s despite having to play first half the season without a recognised striker. Well done to Roy, the coaching staff and the players. It’ll be quite strange spending the final few weeks of the season without much in the way of drama.

Good question,I don't know the answer, but this has to seen as progession allied to good cup run. No if are strikers would get over their yips in front of goal then the sky is the limit. Originally posted by DocSoul

It is progress, but it's naive to say there still isn't a long way to go, with silly mistakes still happening. Again, another season without an inform, recognized striker partnership where they get more than 10 goals between them. Another season where we didn't really have a plan B. This can all be addressed in the summer, just got to be brave and bold.

Yes and just imagine where we could of been if one of our strikers had been willing and able.

Near extinction 8 years ago, now 7 seasons in PL... not spectacular but very solid
