We will edge this one 2-1. Benitez will be on his bike in a few months time and will feel he has worked miracles in keeping the Toon up.

It’s Wilf and the Chelsea lad on the score sheet again...

As we are realistically safe, now surely is the time to be more adventurous.

Play Riedewald with Meyer, rest Schulpp and Van Arnoldt and try to persuade the midfield to hold and bring the ball forward instead of playing instant 'passes' to well marked forwards that are cut out with ease. If they can't do that then we absolutely must find players who can. Progress in the PL depends on it next season.

If things are not going well at half time, make changes then instead of hoping the existing line up will come good.

Best lose by trying to win, rather than doing a Spurs

Wishing for the moon I fear.

Other than wondering who would play left back, I agree on this. Meyer must play just behind the forward line.

Hope the lads heading up have a good day regardless of the result. Say this every season, but I'd always recommend making a weekend of it.

I'm worried about Zaha, Batshuayi (sp?) in our half and the impressive Wan Bissaka stifling our left sided attack in yours.

Think both sides are safe, so I'm expecting your lot to play with a little more freedom. Ours won't, that's not really what we're good at. Solid at the back and get the ball to Almiron or Rondon quickly.

Fully expecting Benitez to walk in the summer, because of Ashley's parsimony. If he does we've got to be amongst the favourites for the drop.

I predict a close game today, us to nick it 2-1 with a late goal.

There will be lots of goals today. Lets just hope we score more than them.

Id love to see Benteke start, Bats has tried his best but the way we set out to play it wouldn't matter if Pele was up front so best to see if he can get a few goals before the season is out.

Welcome back Mr Fish.

Don’t worry, the town of Newcastle will be a happy place tonight
