The Sunday Express, via the BBC gossip page, reports a Chinese club is willing to pay £50m for Mitrovic and pay him £300,000 a week.

Indeed. Or find out who their owners are and get them involved at Palace.

I'd add Sol Bamba and Aaron Mooy to the list from the other relegated clubs, assuming Cardiff go down.

Realistically it’s Mitrovic and Sessengon who are the only players I’d really want. Schurle showed glimpses of quality, but we need to think about longer term and getting slightly younger players. Babel is 32 and would be on big money signing him would be a mistake.

A bit like Glenn Murray then Glenn Murray is much more fit than Mitrovic. Mitrovic is not the forward to take this team further. Save your money Palace

Players from Fulham who I'd like are Schurrle and Vietto. They have shown that they can cut it in the Prem, it's not their fauly that he team went down. Schurrle has hit 6 goals from a wide position, he's not that old, just 28, could still do good things in a better team, but it depends on how much Borussia would ask for him (I think in the region of 8-13 million). And Vietto, a striker, has adapted to a wide position and provided 1 goal and 4 assists. But he's still Atletico's player and they paid 20 million for him, so he's not really worth it. The Fulham defence was the reason they went down. It was really bad and I'm naming here the central midfielders like Seri too. He was talked aboit on the other page. A technical midfielder, but very unadaptable to English football, too small, frail and slow, he could only be good in leagues with slower pace. Cost them a fortune too as he was rumoured to be on Barca's short list. Mitrovic also didn't hit as much as a striker should have. Only 10 goals (4 more than winger Schurrle). And he played A LOT of minutes. Cairney has had a horrendous season, even though he got a lot of playing time. He didn't provide anything. They should have stuck with Steffan Johansen in the winter and kept on fielding the modfield that saw them promoted to the Premier League, with hom and Cairney. They knew each other and could have worked together. Come to think about it, I'd rather take Johansen (their player but on loan) than any of the current Fulham midfielders. Course, there's also Sessegnon, very promising, but we couldn't get him.

Schurrle for me would be the only one id take as he showed glimpses of being absolutely class. I was shocked how little amount of playing time Sessegnon got as he was someone I was looking forward to seeing grow and almost expected him to be in the England fold by now.

Yeah, Willo, he was very good for Nice, I remember, but he was outpaced almost in every match for Fulham. I watched a lot of their games. It was a big hole in midfield, not that he didn't want to challenge the opposing players, but he is just too small and frail. He is not like Coutinho, Lanzini or Kante to put his entire stamina into fighting and never giving up. 27 million but a massive decrease in performances; just 1 goal and 3 assists in 2400 minutes in the Premier League as opposed to 9 goals and 20 assists in 7.000 minutes for Nice in the last 2 years in France.
