VR Proves The Need for VAR

So you think you can be a Assiststant Referee & get every offside call right? Have a look at Jamie Carragher’s VR demonstration of the Azpilicueta goal against Cardiff. By using Virtual Reality he shows the AR had no chance since he was totally unsighted due to his need to hold his position & the speed of the play. I’ve never been overly enthusiastic about VAR but after watching this I now believe it’s time has definitely come.

My initial impression was that either the Assistant's view was impeded by Willian (As was proved) or that he got a good view and felt that the ball was headed on by the defender.Or that he got soot in his eyes !
