It was in the stars that as soon as his position was made "permanent" United's form would slump. I bet the board are wondering why they didn't stick to the idea of waiting till the end of the season before making a decision.

For how many years were Man Utd "the richest club in the world"; remind me? Just to be clear - I don't care how rich clubs are; it's the whinging hypocrisy of Man Utd fans laughably implying that Chelsea's and Man City's successes are unwarranted that I'm trying to highlight. Manchester United shouldn't have to apologise for being rich, they've earned their wealth over generations, unlike the others mentioned who were given it. What they're useless at is investing in their squad. Manchester City have spent a lot of money very well. Liverpool have spent a lot of money very well. Manchester United have spent millions and millions and have gone backwards. Manchester City wouldn't have bought their titles if Manchester United had a competent recruitment policy.

No facts to prove it but I am convinced signing Alexis on massive wages has disrupted the whole dressing room tremendously and has contributed greatly to the problems they have. Long may it continue

OGS has been entrusted with one of the biggest brands in world football and big decisions will have to be made by a manager who has scant experience at the helm of a top club.He has managed Cardiff and Molde and will be up against the likes of Guardiola,Klopp and Pochettino. If Man Utd don't get off to the best of starts I suspect OGS will be on borrowed time and under gargantuan pressure.Should they be well off the pace a few months into the season he could well lose his job.I felt appointing him was a huge gamble. Yes, it seems an impossible task, not a decent defender at the club, Pogba's massive ego dominating, Sanchez, Martial, Fred and Lukaku on massive wages, almost unsellable, only Lingard and Rashford look decent, all the money and no passion
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |
