We were just too good for them! And most other teams now.
Our management came up trumps in the transfer window bringing in Batshuayi. The transformation since has been phenomenal. Wilf is firing on all 8. Schluppie is playing like a man possessed. Wan will surel get his first senior cap shortly.
RH should be in the next honours list. He has moulded a great team spirit playing great football.
Just really sad Wilf cant play for my country anymore. What a star.
Please Parish find a way of securing Batshuayi.

Agree totally. What we need now is to be able to adapt our game to perform at home like we do away. I think I am right in saying that only 15 of our 33 points have come at home so that is hardly fortress Selhurst. Apart from that we have very little to worry about, we are on the up.

Every fan at every away game we win will be thinking ...I wish we could be better at home.

We are so very close at almost every home game to be almost great.

I live in the north west, 300 miles from Selhurst Park, so rarely get to see Palace live. A friend of mine is a Burnley season ticket holder, and promised to get me a ticket for this match 6 months ago.

I took him and two other Burnley supporters to the game, went in to a "home supporters only" pub before, then into the "home supporters only" stand. As at selhurst, any away fans in the home end get ejected if they cause an issue, so I was not wearing colours (although could have got away with my claret and blue scarf from 1963) and kept quiet for most of the game.

When I watched Wilf score his wonderful goal to put the match beyond doubt however it was too much, and I stood up, punched the air and shouted "yes" very loudly. I was in the corner closest to the away fans, so most of my shout was drowned out. It also wasn't heard because of the dozens of home fans around me walking out, so I did not get ejected.

To be fair to my Burnley supporting companions they freely admitted that the better side won on the day, that we had much more quality than them, and that their players were limited in skill, and that their team relied on effort and strength.

It really p****s me off, fans walking out at half-time just because they are losing.

Don't think we have that at Selhurst, we know good times and bad.

Another cracking away performance, we might not do the business at home, but away we can counter attack like no one else.

My god we take our chances away, our second was as about as clinical as you get. As for Wilf, what can you say he was completely unplayable yesterday... coyp

Surely AWB will be getting a phone call from Southgate very soon ? Also in the back of his mind why Wilf wasn't involved with England around the last World Cup qualifiers and tournament. He'll get better and the pain will only grow.

maybe 5 6 or 7 could be welsh.
the guy cant win made some crucial saves saturday.
When he tried to clear a spinning ball from what he thought could be a back pass and sliced it out the bloke next to me was screaming pick it up.If he'd picked it up and given away a free kick on the 6 yard line the bloke would have screamed WH should have kicked it away.WH eyes look like a rabbit in the headlights and certainly needs some confidence building. Was good to hear us chanting his name after a save from Barnes hopefully will do him a power of good.Great displays by dann/tomkins schlupp kouyate and jimmy mac awesome when he came on.Sad to see Andros one clap of acknowledgement and straight down the tunnel

Not quite right; it's 13 out of 33 - the 2nd worst home record after the cloggers.
