Stiverne has got old quickly pal. Joyce may be slow but he's a unit. Neither young enough to ever get good enough. Looking forward to the main event.

Two judges giving it 114-112. Absolute disgrace. Our judging is as bent as the Americans now.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Same division, was 30 years ago today when Roberto Duran beat Iran Barkley in what was Roberto's last great fight. Funnily enough I remember watching this. I was 19 and had been out on either a first or second date with a young lass who was well out of my league. I remember going back to the flat she shared with her sister after a night out together. she put the TV on and this fight was just about to start. Watched the whole fight and remember I kept telling her and her sister to be quiet. Was enthralled by Duran mutch to my dates amusement. Never saw her again. No idea why.
