Yes please. Exactly the type of player we should be after. I’m guessing he would have a decent price tag though. Has an eye for a goal in the Championship too. Would compete with Andros/cover for the wide positions Edited by MonsterMunch (17 Jan 2019 9.26am)

All this rampant speculation ! We have Townsend on the right, and we are linked with Moses who plays down the right as well as Bowen who plays down the right and cuts in on to his left-foot - just like Townsend ! Hodgson talks about only players on Loan or on a Free and I very much doubt that Bowen comes into either category ! Pinch of salt.

I have always suspected that this is a ploy to ensure that clubs don't assume we have lots of money to spend. We seem to be spending (a relatively small) money on a back-up keeper and we shall see if there is more in the kitty in the next couple of weeks.

Yes one can dampen expectation amongst one's supporters and at the same time signal to other clubs that we cannot be held to ransom.

I tend to take whatever speculation I see regarding palace with a pinch of salt, however welcome it would be. The same can be said for a lot of what Roy says.
