According to people on Twitter who witnessed this the driver was a black guy who had a lisp so definitely not Big Sam. It was a works van and apparently the police and his employer have already been notified as to what happened Was it Chris Eubank ?

Was it Chris Eubank ? No. He’d drive a tank, and if it was him, you’d hear about it because he’s from Brighton.

I heard a lot of honking (more than the usual as people have stated). My biggest annoyance with it is I do actually drive to Palace and I do it knowing that the fans in the road take priority and I can either be patient or get a train instead but these people give us a bad name. One time I was driving to get to the main road after a game and people were a bit more annoyed than usual so I guess we lost? Anyway I did my usual smile and signal that literally as many fans as necessary can walk in front of the car and sometimes I've waited 10 minutes never getting frustrated when one Palace fan kicked my car and started shouting I shouldn't bloody drive during that time. Was infuriating because of the amount of times I've seen these angry locals show no respect and toot and try and run people over and get nothing and me just sitting there in my Palace shirt gets my car kicked and a load of abuse. Waited ten minute? There's being generous and then there's this. Are you sure the bloke having a go at the car wasn't one of the dozen or so in cars behind pulling their hair out?

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I reported the vehicle in question to the company on the side of the van. It appears that the van was an insurance write-off, and the signage not removed after being sold on. the company in question have also reported this to the police. Seeing women and children crying at the scene...

To be fair, this is a common scene at Selhurst this season. Might not necessarily be related to someone bibbing their horn.
