We’ve had really good results against the big teams but when it comes to the teams at the bottom of the table who play with ten men behind the ball Roy seems to be clueless about how to deal with it and that’s a worry.

If you take a look at our opportunities missed you may feel differently, Roy doesn't miss them.

I disagree 100% (with all due respect).
I want us to give ourselves the best chance of winning something.

As is your right, but would you rather have a cup run at the risk of relegation, i wouldn't, even if we got to Wembley.

My 3 big criticisms of Roy are;

- Leaves subs too late, doesn’t seem to trust the bench
- Lack of goals
- Teamsheet nearly always guessable in advance

All 3 of these are arguably down to a lack of investment in the squad in the last few transfer windows. Unfortunately we just don’t seem to have the funds available to take us to the next level.

So why are you complaining then? if we don't have funds there is nothing he can do about, prehaps you should have a word with Parish.

Not mentioned on this morning's TalkSh!te relegation roundup with Allardyce. Don't know whether that's because they think we're safe or because their religion declares Palace a taboo subject.

All day long bud.
I want us to (finally) win a competition that we enter and i'm really not fussed about the PL as i see every year in this league as a bonus considering our size, our 'natural' home being the second tier.
Potential relegation from the Championship though would be a different matter tbh as that'd really give me the 'ump!
The PL is not the be-all and end-all for me, i'm happy to enjoy the ride (for as long as it lasts).

Alfie Penfold ..

Just like it was in the Championship, Selhurst Park is now a daunting threat to visiting teams and a fortress for the Eagles.

For what it's worth, I think it would be harsh to sack him at the moment.

And this is an interesting and amusing read...

'Roy Hodgson, the wisest most endearing owl we'll ever know'

The West Brom interview, of course, gets covered.

'Always tries to be respectful and well-mannered in his post and pre-match interviews. However, even the mild-mannered Roy can be pushed over the edge. Watch here as he turns from friendly, smiling owl into vicious raptor.'

Made me laugh anyway

A good read and a nice repost to those who think it clever to call him Woy, the man speaks 5 languages and is admired across much of Europe. We are lucky to have him.
