Sako can't get into a championship team and they want to offload him. He's 30 years old, played 12 games since the beginning of the 2016-2017 season and hardly set the world alight. Is he really what we should be looking at. Would rather have kept Sorloth. Sorloth over Sako, seriously... before he got injured against West Ham the guy was a whole different level.

If the guy can't bust into that attack then maybe Everton pushing for a transfer and us taking the plunge isn't a great move. Take a loan on him, nothing more.

Yeah they have. But if we fancy coughing up £20 million then they’re willing to sit down and talk. He scored for them tonight and then pointed to the badge, so maybe he’s not interested in a move away at this time.

We need - and I see the good signs that it is slowly happening - to stop being a buying (at high prices) club. By all means, pick up improving players but not those touted as the finished product. I did read that if Wilf went to M City, the goals would flow. The current level of ball skills in all our squad is a joy to watch.
