It would have been easy won money even if he had just been loaned out. (Chelsea does this a lot and have developed many young players who are now in their squad) I had my doubts 1-2 years ago and wasn't sure if he would be PL quality in a few years. He could have been, exceeding even my expectations and could have become even more than a loanee player and actually have joined Palace's squad. You can never be sure of those things. But judging today, at this price...he is not worth it in my opinion.
