Extremely good and cheap wingman. The competition for a starting place in Borussia Moenchengladbach is very big and he just can't get to be a starter in their 3 men up front ahead of Thorgan Hazard (valued at around 60 million, wanted by Atletico Madrid any many other clubs), Alhassane Plea (one of the top goalscorers of Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga) and Lars Stindl (Germany national team international). There are also the Brazilian goalscorer Raffael, Ibrahima Traore, Fabian Johnson or the Swiss striker Josef Drmic there to. I'd say Herrmann is ahead of them in the picking order, but he wants more playing time. Frrom what I understood, the price is very small: just 4 million!! This is a player who has 2 goals and 3 assists in 500 minutes this season (his goals when they beat Bayern Munich 3-0 eralier this season was amazing, look it up), he comes with a great morale. In the last seasons he has a combined 6 goals and 11 assists (21) in 3900 minutes. Playing as right or left winger that's simply amazing! At 4 million he's a real bargain. Southampton is also in for him, as are a number of Bundesliga German clubs. He did have a nasty cruciate ligament injury 3 years ago, but I think that's fully healed. All the stats I stated above are after that injury, he had also been very good before that, even getting 2 national team caps in 2015.

Would make good sense for a small amount of £££ But my sense is that there is little or no cash available and Solanke might be coming in as utility striker across the front 3?
